Updating the status of a load not only lets your dispatcher know your progress, it also helps you track detention time. When you tap "At shipper" on your load card, the system timestamps your arrival.
Then tap "Loaded" and the system timestamps when you're finished at the Shipper.
At billing time, your dispatcher will easily see how long you had to spend at the shipper.
